Labradoodle Purchase Procedure/Prices

If you are interested in being placed on our waiting list for an Australian Labradoodle puppy, please fill out our application. With covid, it’s been overwhelmingly busy and we simply are not able to care for and raise that many puppies!  So we’re having to move to a time/date stamp process.  So do send in an application and it’ll sit in the email inbox so I can refer back to it.  I will pre post a couple of litters at a time and will clearly state when the list is open (date and time).  At that time, please send in an “email of intent” with your contact information, email address and the litter list you would like to be on.  The list will be filled in order of time/date stamp and we will go thro an approval process. I will then contact the successful families and we will do a phone interview. Once your puppy form is approved, you will need to send a non-refundable service/retainer fee of $500 in order to be placed on our wait list. The fee of $500 is separate from the purchase price.

Once your fee is received, you will be placed on that list.  Once the litter is bred, another $500 is due and then when the babies are born, puppy families will be invoiced for a further $1000.  I will contact you once the puppies are born and generally post photos every couple of weeks on the website. If there is not a labradoodle puppy for you in that litter, you will be contacted and your name moves to next available litter. Fees may be kept on file with us for 2 years from the date we received it. You may also request your name to be moved to a subsequent litter if something comes up such the timing of the current suitable litter is not good for your family (and please do give us as much notice as possible).

Full payment for the puppy is due when the puppy is 6 weeks old. Around 7 weeks of age, puppies are matched up with their families based on preferences communicated on your application, emails exchanged, phone conversations and Copper Canyons’ observations. We want the best fit for our puppies and your family and so we reserve the right to refuse placement of a puppy if we feel it is not a good fit for either the family or the puppy. Although rare, we also reserve the right to refund fees if we are not comfortable placing a puppy with a family.

Occasionally, Copper Canyon may wish to retain a special puppy or two for breeding and so it may be that not all puppies in a litter are available as pets. At 8 weeks, puppies are neutered or spayed and microchipped. Puppies are ready to go to their forever homes at 8 weeks (unless later, at Copper Canyon’s discretion), after a check up at our veterinarians office and veterinarian health certificate, if flying.

There is LOTS of information on our website!  Please do take time to read thro it, and if you have questions not answered there, you are welcome to call. Visits are welcome, as long as you do NOT visit other doggie areas or breeders prior to coming and we do require that you wipe the bottoms of your shoes with a bleach rag BEFORE you come onto our property. We love to visit with people and to “show off” our dogs, but we want to minimize any risk of parvo being brought to our home.

Shipping is not included in our prices, as many of our puppy families are able to pick up their puppy from our home. Please visit our Shipping page for more information about flying your puppy home. Included in shipping cost is transportation to and from the airport, vet certified health certificate, airline approved crate (that they will have begun their crate training in) and food, water and fleece blanket.
