Copper Canyon Otis Brown – adopted by the Welsh family

Hi!  My name is Otis and I am a friendly and happy boy who loves couch time and play time.  I’m house trained, I have good manners, and I get along well with other dogs.  I don’t mind kids but I didn’t grow up with them so I think I’d like a home with a couple who has lots of time to go for walks and play with me.   I do like teenagers as I grew up with those.  I’m a follower rather than being bossy and so I like somebody else to take charge (it’s way easier to be a good follower).  I am definitely treat motivated and I like to play with toys too.  I don’t love being in my crate but I don’t fuss a lot about it either.  I learn quickly and would make a great companion!

Otis is a 10 month old chocolate mini boy 16 inches tall and weighs 22.6 lbs with a wavy/slightly curly fleece coat.  I’d say he’s fully grown for height but may put on another pound or two of muscle yet.  He was going to be a stud dog but he didn’t pass his CERF eye exam this week, and the ophthalmologist says he has juvenile cataracts that are unlikely to grow bigger, but they are there and so he shouldn’t be a breeding boy.  He’ll make a really good fishing buddy or walking companion.

He’s done with the puppy stages and is fully house trained, not bad on leash tho he didn’t get lots of practice with that.  $3500
